Comments Thread For: Jessie Vargas: Bradley beating Pacquiao makes our rematch bigger

Last June Tim Bradley handed Jessie Vargas his only career defeat when he picked up an unanimous decision victory at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Bradley had a big lead in the fight when Vargas badly hurt him late in the final round. The fight was inadvertently stopped early when the referee mistook the 10 second warning for the final bell.

Bradley won practically every round of that first fight until Vargas landed a lucky punch at the end.

Too little too late. Who even wants to see the rematch besides Jessie and Bob "Keep It In House" Arum?

He got mauled for 11 rds and then rocked Tim late. If Ruslan ain't get a rematch for battering Tim early and late, Vargas ain't getting one. Well, maybe he does get it but he's talking like he deserves it 100 percent. He really did get lucky in that last rd.

Vargas is like the dude who couldn't get it up while his homies were getting bjs from some slut & right as she was leaving, he managed to get it up.... NOPE you got treated homie. You need to fight someone like L.Peterson, someone Timmy beat back in his prime.

Even then Bradley was clear headed and obviously going to survive. People way exaggerate how hurt he was.

If Vargas picks up another good win, I wouldn't mind the rematch. Certainly not right now, though.
