agreed we can use the canelo mayweather as an example but canelo is even bigger now and mayweather is also bigger then manny. the only way the fight would make sense is if they did it at 150-152 and drained canelo and i just dont think canelo can make that weight anymore. hes just to big for manny and style matchup is all wrong for manny his only chance would be to use the same game plan he did with margarito the problem with that is canelo is a way smarter and better boxer then margarito and he would be able to adjust and catch him

Cortez is correct, Pacqiao is not a defensive first fighter, he will get hit.

Pacquiao cannot hurt Canelo, but Canelo will hurt him. The size is too much, for an offensive fighter like Pacquiao he will mix it up way too much, you need to play it super safe like Floyd and pot shot and limit your punches to touch shots do not commit with power, if you do that you will get caught, Floyd has also the reach and style to beat someone like Canelo.

Canelo doesnt pressure fight at all, Pacquiao doesnt have reach over Canelo, and Pac lunges in with 3 punch combos and Canelo counters you when you trade with him.

The sad thing is Arum wants to desperately throw Pacquiao and Bradley winner in with Canelo, he wants to cash both guys out with a huge payday.

Bradley and Pac are both damaged and used up, both warriors who fought whoever ARum tells them too, its a shame Arum would do this, ARum would even throw Bradley in with GGG.

Cortez is comparing Manny's weight division as a 16 year old vs Canelo's weight as a grown adult. One can't describe Manny as a "9 division champ"(flyweight to jr middle) and then in the next sentence say he can't fight against a jr middleweight. LOL! Cortez and Miguel Rivera are goofy as hell.
