I agree but Haye could creep up on him. Haye isn't the 210lbs blown up cruiserweight anymore. He had 3.5 years to add 20lbs of muscle. He is a rock solid 230 now & has 1 punch knockout power in both hands. I never liked him much but this new version of Haye could be pretty tough to beat. The added bulk could help him absorb punches better as well. If he hasn't lost any hand speed... Look out! He has become the wild card of the division.Comment

I think I need to see how Haye looks in his next couple of fights, with the added bulk, yes his power and punch resistance will increase but he did look slower in the De Mori fight. It may be ring rust, I guess we will find out over the next 12 Months whether or not his speed and defensive reactions are as quick as they used to be.
At last the HW division is exciting.Comment

He could fall flat on his face & get creamed when he steps up against a puncher like Wilder or Joshua but if he can still get those power combinations off he could be on top of the world again. I can't really say he looked slower but he looked a lot more menacing. He may start taking more chances against the taller guys now. At 210 he wasn't exactly jumping inside to throw those power combos against Wlad or Valuev. I'm actually really interested to see how Haye does. I don't see him stepping up much until he gets a big fight with Wilder, Fury, Joshua or Povetkin. If Martin beats Joshua he could be looking to pursue Haye & come back to England for another 7 digit paycheck...Agreed.

I never said it was a good thing, but if your going to give an opinion about sanctioning bodies you should know of their policies - common sense. How the fk is that a good thing ?
When the WBC refused to rank Klitschko, they appeared to be inept.
You are wakk if you think that I am going to dig around in their rule-book to work out why they appear to be so ******.
Even the simplest casual fan upon hearing that Wilder is the heavyweight champion of the world, would have said..... hold on, that big Russian guy who has dominated HW for the last 5-10 years...... HE is the best heavyweight on the planet, not this Wilder guy..... right ?
How the fk did that benefit boxing ?Comment

The IBF is transparent, which means Fury knew the whole time what was required of him if he beat Klitschko. If he chose to go ahead with the rematch then that's on him.
If you want to argue that the IBF should allow for immediate rematches when a champion loses his title....that might not be a bad idea. They just have to change the rule for the future.
But apart from that they should be praised for being consistent and always applying the same standards to all fighters. All the bullshit about A-sides and big money promoters bending the rules when its convenient doesn't seem to happen with them.
But, they are transparently ****.
There is no way they should have stripped Fury IMMEDIATELY after beating the long-standing champ Klitschko..... for Glazkov, or how it turned out, Martin.
Religiously enforcing absurd mandatories will not gain them credibility or raise the prestige of their belt..... I view them as distinctly second-rate, and so will the fighters, you heard what Fury just said.
They have been consistent..... consistently poor, with undeserving champions and absurd mandatories.
How many IBF " champions " are the best in their respective divisions?
How many of their " mandatories " are deserving, or even known to fans?Comment

WAR FURY!!!

And original zero is nowhere to be seen.

The IBF is a laughingstock, Fury has more clout.
Oh right, yea good point, where's he at ?
That guy is either Daryl Peoples first-born son, or kafkod, not sure which.Comment
