So, they appear to be a second-rate organisation with **** policies.

Nothing that can't be fixed, but sooner would be better than later if they want to retain credibility with the fighters.

    e.g.

Charles Martin would dump that **** for the first decent payday that came along..... he knows how he came by that "title".

It may be ring rust, I guess we will find out over the next 12 Months whether or not his speed and defensive reactions are as quick as they used to be.

At last the HW division is exciting.
You're not going to find out shit about Haye so long as he keeps fighting these non-en******. I suspect he's slowed considerably since his heyday and is banking on people assuming he's still more or less at his best to force a lucrative showdown with a big name.

He was going after Browne. That would've been a good fight if not for Browne testing positive but people think no matter what path Haye takes he's just going in their for a payday. ****in ******, he tries to fight Browne and he just wants a payday, he is now taking it slow with some 29-0 guy and he's just being a deceiving **** trying to have people believe he's still the goods.

Honestly who gives a ***, Haye vs most of the champs is a great fight, That Browne fight would've been awesome, and it would have built up a Joshua fight perfect. Haye is bloated now, I doubt he can move like he used to, he'll get stopped when he loses.

There is no way they should have stripped Fury IMMEDIATELY after beating the long-standing champ Klitschko..... for Glazkov, or how it turned out, Martin.

Religiously enforcing absurd mandatories will not gain them credibility or raise the prestige of their belt..... I view them as distinctly second-rate, and so will the fighters, you heard what Fury just said.

They have been consistent..... consistently poor, with undeserving champions and absurd mandatories.

How many IBF " champions " are the best in their respective divisions?

How many of their " mandatories " are deserving, or even known to fans?
The IBF heavyweight mandatory was long overdue. They can't keep skipping over the #1 contender just because there is more money to be made elsewhere. That's what it means to have rules and stick to them.

And maybe they would have champs and mandatories that are more known if promoters like Bob Arum would agree to play by their rules. But good ol' Bob prefers to do business with the likes of the WBO...why do you think that is? It's because the WBO are willing to play fast and loose with their policies so that certain fighters get a high ranking out of nowhere while other fighters "accidentally" get dropped from the rankings like what happened to Austin Trout.

The fact of the matter is that if you want to buy influence and get ahead through corruption then the current IBF isn't the best place for it. They make it too difficult.

Yes, After his surgery he actually said that the best Doctor's advised him not to box again.

If that's true then he should have listened.

Now I can't feel sorry for him if he gets badly hurt, he knew it was recommended against and he kept going anyway.

That also means that unless he's fighting a cab driver, I am putting plata against him. Dollars. Pounds. Euros. Pesos. Yen.

Yes, he also has put on 15lbs. Which is all good and well in terms of his power but he looked a lot slower in the De Mori fight.

Lets see how he looks on May 21st, maybe he will surprise us

Yes they can..... because he was ****, and because that mandatory was completely irrelevant to the boxing landscape at heavyweight.

NOBODY wanted that pointless Fury/Glazkov fight.

I could name half-a-dozen better, and more relevant, fights for Fury.

Fury/Klitschko is likely the #1 vs #2 at heavyweight.

THAT is the fight that needs to happen, much more interesting, and much more relevant.

Enforcing mandatories is great, but only IF your rankings are great..... no way was Fury/Glazkov, or stripping Fury, more relevant than a long-standing champion exercising his right to a rematch.

The boxing landscape changes continually, and the sanctioning organisations need to adapt accordingly, otherwise they quickly become irrelevant.

They need to use some common-sense, not figure out what to do by reading from an inflexible/inaccurate rule-book.
