Billy Joe Saunders is eyeing up a huge Wembley summer showdown with pound-for-pound megastar Gennady Golovkin should he get past Mad' Max Bursak.

The unbeaten Brit is fully focused on the first defence of his World Boxing Organziation (WBO) title against the Kazakh terror on Saturday 30th April at the Copper Box Arena, but is determined to prove himself against the big man' of the division.

Well I'm down for that, Wembley is a great venue to hold it in but Saunders needs to make a statement for this fight that and he needs to sell the hype for GGG this is a PPV fight If it happens in Britain but we need many big decent named fighters on the bill that's either up to Frank Warren doing his bit or HBO.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they offer the fight to him, along with a few millions, and the home turf advantage and he said no? Now it just seem that when he has a crap opponent set up,and he's just using golovkins name in oder to hype up his own stale fight.

I wonder if Boleyn Ground (35k-40k) is big enough for BJS expectations. That fight would never sell out Wembley. Saunders just fought Andy Lee for a title in front of 5k-6k people.

Wasn't that Andy Lee's preference and not BJS.

are we supposed to believe this chump when he already ducked GGG and has practically claimed that GGG would maul him?

Never a Wembley fight that. Mostly because even casuals who do a modicum of research would have a hard time believing it would be competitive.

The next Wembley event can only really be Joshua vs Fury or something of that ilk.

Lee wanted to fight at the stadium in Limerick, but they couldn't sell enough tickets for it. Frank moved it to Manchester to make better money and it still flopped.
