And Holyfield Has Taken Too Many Punches

These clowns forget who Khan was leaving 140 in 2011. Beaten by Peterson, KOd by Swift & a One Hit Wonder named Prescott. They're also in denial over what he did landing at 147, beating a soft hitting shot Alexander. Beat Collapso (Collazo), not the same Collazo who fought a great fight against Thurman, and fought scared as hell against a puffed up Algieri, who Pacquiao dropped 6x, who hit him all night long with straight right hands. He avoids Thurman, Brook, Porter, Bradley and Provodnikov because he couldn't get enough money to take a loss from any of the 5, which would have happened. A loss to Floyd & Manny pays massively more, which is why he begged them both, but they each knew he was only in it for a retirement check. So them Canelo needs a softy before GGG in the Fall, so they feed him Khan who gets $8M, to get what James Kirkland got. $8M, Khan signed in a heartbeat. He couldn't get $8M fighting all five of those before mentioned.

Holyfield took too many shots from Bowe, Foreman, Tyson, Moorer, Toney and let us not forget Smokin Bert Cooper! Khan has a confirmed glass jaw at 140, at 147, and at 154; that doesn't suddenly grow Teflon. Khan is gonna get blown up inside 3 rounds, with $8M in the bank, and very easily could be his last fight. Just because he hates to get hit, can't take a punch, and finally got the lottery ticket payday he has begged for these last 5 years. And this KO will hurt the worst. DelaHoya has done a great sell-job on Khan. But Canelo is his horse, and Khan doesn't hit hard enough to concern Canelo; are you kidding me. He just walked thru James Kirklands power. Miguel Cotto couldn't hurt or hold off Canelo!

But then again, Holyfield has never been accused of being to intelligent.

Because they (fighters) are all part of the fraternity, they run same social circles. So unless they are fighting each other, tend to speak benefit of doubt towards other fighters. Fans more realistic for what we believe is gonna happen. This fight will take a TON of criticism when it's over, and Amir gets help back to the dressing room to pull up his bank account online to confirm $8M has cleared at the bank. On the other side, the media, the fans will be harsh on Canelo to fight GGG next, after selecting such a gutless puffed up 147lber, who yet puffed up again to 155. This is another Danny Garcia-Rod Salka mismatch. Oscar will take heat for this.

you guys clearly dont understand the business of boxing...but then again we all love pugilism too much and ignore the ugly details..

mismatch by the always high on coke de la hoya, golden boy- running around in fishnets with hookers when he has such a beautiful wife, shows you what that pos is made of. he doesnt give a *** about boxing and will continue to make **** matchups. hes just a younger version of arum. it makes me sick to my stomach. i actually prefer the ufc now, atleast dana white doesnt *****foot around and makes the best matchups.

Lots of things not going for Khan in this fight.

Never been at that weight. Has looked suspect even at 147. His biggest glaring problem is that more than suspect chin of his. What happens when Canelo connects?

Khan would have to stay on the outside then tie up Canelo on the inside. Khan's asset is his speed. He should keep his combinations to a minimum unless he sees it paying off .... but if I was Khan, one shot then move back out of danger and tie Canelo up ..... I do not like that though as far as entertainment value.

Holyfield, "Khan has speed and has good punches". In other words his punches are decent and the only chance he has is speed.

Maybe pre fight some people will feel this way, but awhen the fight is over, everyone is going to say it was a mismatch in Canelo's favor.

The more I read this stuff the more I feel like we are headed to Khan getting sparked out early. Could be a Pac/Hatton situation. People severely overrating Khan. He looks the part, but once Canelo connects it will be pretty much over.
