What makes it worse is that GB isn't even the lead promoter on it. They picked him up just to make the golovkin fight

i think he had a follow-up HBO date guaranteed in his contract for the golovkin fight, he just chose not to exercise it on this tune-up

i guess we'll see him against stevens, johnson or monroe jr on HBO later in the year

He has a fight guaranteed on HBO after this. HBO didn't pick this fight up because initially it was the same date as Thurman vs Porter on March 12 and because this was going to be a tune up fight. Basically the same reason HBO didn't pick up Andre Ward's fight last year either. Glad that this fight is being picked up in the US interesting in seeing how he looks in his comeback fight.

HBO didn't pick up the N'Dam fight either and that was a great fight in paper and in reality.

That fight was ALSO on the same date as Broner vs Porter. That was part of the reason they passed on it.

Good come back fight for Lemieux. De La Rosa is tough and should not be taken lightly.

Glad that Ring TV Live will stream this. Interesting that Fox Deportes picked this up. I thought they were exclusive to PBC?

Either way good come back fight for Lemieux.

If David wins I would like to see him fight Johnson, Andy Lee, or Billy Jo Saunders next.
