Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford: Knocking Hank Lundy Out Was Real Satisfying

New York, NY- Omaha was definitely well represented in New York last Saturday night when Terence Crawford stopped Hank Lundy to retain his WBO junior welterweight world title in front over 5,000 people in a sold out Theatre at Madison Square Garden. Crawford delivered his promised knockout in his New York debut.

It was a good knockout but Crawford's tenure at 140 has been underwhelming. To TC's credit 140 is a bit top heavy right now so not a ton of options there outside of a unification. Postol or Broner should be next. I'll even accept Matthysse at this stage but not Ruslan.

I agree. Some real crap wins for him at that weight.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that now we've seen the presumptuous Crawford, which in many cases signals the beginning of a mild to severe downfall. First of all, it was a TKO, not a flat out KO like he says it was. Get that straight. Yes, he's quite accomplished as a technician, but don't let success and fame twist the head. The guy has some huge challenges ahead, so he needs to remain humble and focused. Way too easy to get distracted and twisted round in this biz.
