Comments Thread For: Top Rank Exec Feels Jose Pedraza's Career Being Mishandled
Carl Moretti, the Vice President For Top Rank, feels the career of Puerto Rico's IBF super featherweight champion Jose Pedraza of Puerto Rico is being mishandled.
Good thing Pedraza doesn't need protection. He's not getting any.
he hasn't had that tough of fights and most thought edner cherry beat that culo. hes older so he should be farther again. i agree though that verdejo needs to step it up but he still be hella young

You miss the point, Cherry was in front of his people. Cherry and his cherry bomb in the old home town. Pedraza had to throw down just to get out of dodge with his scalp. Cherry may not be an all time great, but he's no hair dresser or South American unknown (we knew he was slow).
Pedraza has def been matched tougher and gets paid better, but Verdejo with bigger name.
That's the point they're getting at. Pedraza should be a huge hit by now. He's lucky to be a Puerto Rican, he's undefeated, has skills, yet no ones talking about him like Verdejo.
