No. He just won the title 4 months ago. It takes 18 months without fighting a top 5 contender in your weight division to get stripped. Adonis and Rigondeaux went 18 months without fighting a top 5 contender in their weight divisions. Stevenson's last top 5 win was Tavoris Cloud in 2013. Rigo's last top 5 win was Donaire in 2013, their 18 months was up. They got stripped accordingly.

What concessions? 160 is the middleweight division, 155 is nothing and unreasonable, we are not talking about a smaller and a bigger fighter meeting in the middle...
