Comments Thread For: Crawford Skill Set Trumps Lundy Trash Talk

There was nothing wrong with trash-talking your opponent. There is a problem though if you can't back it up.

Hank Lundy talked the talk in the build-up to his Saturday clash against Terence Crawford, but could not back it up when it counted most: inside the ring.

Lundy was competitive and wanted to win, his competitiveness brought out the beast in Crawford and that's why he was stopped. But he did some good work while he lasted.

Too bad we'll never see Crawford vs. Pacquiao, but I would love to see Crawford vs. Broner @ 140! I think Crawford has the talent to beat both Broner and Danny Garcia. It's sad that we might not ever see either fight!

Time for Crawford to start calling people out imho...have a feeling they'll be targeting Matthysse should he win his comeback fight but would be smart if they gave him a quick turn around and shoved him on that Pacquaio vs Bradley undercard somehow.

Broner is easy. He doesn't deserve a shot at Crawford.

Crawford looks like he could end up being something special. The way he takes his time, figures guys out, then dominates them is a little reminiscent of Floyd.

Lundy stepped up when others didn't

I think we need to first commend Crawford for his performance. However we need to acknowledge Lundy who is really a light weight stepped up and fought one of the best in boxing and that says a lot about Lundy. He didn't win but he's still a guy you have to respect for not ducking anyone. Fans like to tear you down when you don't duck people but lose.

I was very upset Craford didn't even mention Postol. when you see the thread today about him v Provodnikov I guess you can understand why.

Time for him to fight better opponents.
