Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux Not Impressed: I'll Fight Frampton and Quigg!

Two-Olympic gold medal winner Guillermo Rigondeaux (16-0, 10KOs) was not impressed by today's super bantamweight unification at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

IBF champion Carl Frampton added Scott Quigg's WBA super bantamweight belt by winning their unification fight by split decision on Saturday.

Rigo can beat them both on the same night... shoot, he might be able to get them both at the same time.

A good final round by Frampton, who frustrated Quigg and came off the ropes with uppercuts, may have decided it for the judges, two of who scored it 116-112 for Frampton.
Learn how to add and subtract. Assuming Frampton won the 12th round, had it gone to Quigg instead, it'd still be 115-113 Frampton.

          Lazy writing, that.

Rigo would be a big payday for Quigg now, considering his circumstance. The zero is gone and where else can Quigg generate any kind of money after this? Rigo would probably do it in the UK too, where Quigg can draw. A second chance at redemption. Beat Rigo and people would say this loss was a fluke, demand a rematch. Lose, and Frampton has an unavoidable challenge, an invader to repel on English soil. Win win lose win situation.

To be fair Frampton and Quigg were pretty boring themselves for large portions of the fight, weren't they?

They won't fight you though, Frampton's camp are already talking about going up in weight to fight LSC

Rigo's one claim to fame was having won the most boring boxing match in history and now Frampton has taken even that. Pure bad blood now.

Two men will step into that ring. One man will leave weeping. After being bored to tears.
