I'm happy Tugstsogt Nyambayar is getting an opportunity here. He was a pretty good amateur. I actually thought he beat Robeisy Ramirez in the Olympic Final. He was the only one really landing cleanly and doing work in the first two round (Robeisy was not really doing anything; the opposite of how he fought in his other fights). Robeisy didn't wake up until the third round and even then Tug was landing a lot of clean shots himself. I'm a Robeisy fan myself, but I thought he lost that fight.

That's a pretty big step up (difficult fight) for his 5th pro bout, but I guess when you're in his position and not really getting any opportunities you have to take what they give you. Also surprised he's already fighting as a Featherweight. He was a Flyweight most of his amateur career, but he is a younger guy so he naturally outgrew that division. He was 17 when he captured a Silver at the 2009 World Championships as a Flyweight (at that time it was 112 pounds) then got a Silver medal at the Olympics as a Flyweight (114 pounds). I was expecting him to campaign at 118 or 122 as a pro, I think most of his fights were at 122. Let's see how handles the Featherweight division. Hopefully it doesn't hurt him.
Well anyway there is some info for anyone reading and interested.
Hopefully he wins and looks good so he could get more opportunities and help grow boxing in Mongolia.

Edit: I forgot that he ended his amateur career at Bantamweight (123 in the amateurs), so it makes a little more sense why he's been fighting at Super Bantam as a pro and now looks like he'll move up to Featherweight. Maybe he'll go back to 122 after this fight. What ever weight he feels more comfortable in. If he feels better at Featherweight he should stay there. He seems to have good height on him. He's probably like 5'7".

Damn this mfer the missing link.

Lipinets is a guy to watch imo. 'The missing link doesn't seem to be a easy W here either. He's 3-0-1 (2) vs undefeated cats.

King Tut is getting moved fast. 8 rounders by his 3rd fight. 10 rounders by his 5th fight vs a 16-2 guy. I love all these established amateurs speeding up their progression more these days then in the past. He's only been 3 rounds & this other cat has never been stopped & went 10 with a 23-1 prospect last time out so this could be interesting. He old doe (38yrs).

                  Love these FS1 cards.
