If you're critic with Fonfara as possible foe for Kovalev, who was by far the best fighter Adonis fought, I wouldn't imagine how critic you are w/ Adonis.

Beterbiev and Ward are. Beterbiev could match Kovalev's roughness and Ward could match his boxing.

Braehmer, Fonfara, Stevenson, they are weaker than Kovalev in every area. No advantages. Pascal (before Kov destroyed him) wins those fights.

Stevenson is the ultimate example of why lineal title reigns are exactly the same as any other title reign. Meaningless distinction.

His resume is lame and he ducked the top 3 in his division. All 3 had matching stories about him going MIA a couple days before contracts were supposed to be signed, then resurfacing once they were busy.

There's no way Kovalev/Hopkins/Pascal are all in on it together. All said the exact same thing in separate interviews.

If there was only one title per division as it should be then Kovalev would be chasing the lineal champion. He wouldn't be able to call himself a champ until he beat the actual champ.
