Comments Thread For: Warrington vs. Amagasa Added To April 16 Bill In Leeds

Opting to move forward following his near-flawless performance versus Joel Brunker last October, Josh Warrington begins 2016 with a ****. The unbeaten featherweight continues his bold march towards featherweight contention as he next faces Japan’s Hisashi Amagasa.

The bout will take place on April 16 at First Direct Arena in Warrington’s hometown of Leeds, England. Already on the show - as previously reported by BoxingScene.com - is the bantamweight title eliminator between Stuart Hall and Rodrigo Guerrero.

Working his way into the news, but not contention. This fight might carry more weight if Josh wasn't at home, as usual. With that and the fact that Amagasa's claim to fame is a losing effort 4 pounds south, by KO to a non puncher. Selby is the only worth while fight left for Josh at home.
