Comments Thread For: Frampton Acknowledges It's Been Worth The Wait For Quigg

Carl Frampton remembers the day that Scott Quigg first appeared on his radar. The unbeaten boxer from Belfast, Northern Ireland was a mere eight fights into his career when he pointed out the potential for the super bantamweight division to explode both on the domestic and worldwide level.

This should be a really good fight. I'll be rooting for Frampton but it's difficult to call a winner. I think it's interesting that Frampton left Matchroom Boxing and they signed up Quigg shortly after. I remember a post-fight ringside interview with Frampton and Hearn in which Hearn basically belittled Quigg by saying that Frampton sold out arenas and was one of the best in the world while Quigg couldn't and wasn't.

Rigo will be at the fight, or so have been rumored, maybe the winner grows some balls and calls rigo out.

          Great fight for Boxing
Huge crowds for this fight, so much so that they are charging coin for the weigh in.

Props to Quigg and Frampton for not letting this fight "marinade" till the meat is spoiled

After what Tyson Fury did to Klitschko I'd have a little more respect for British hypejobs.

Yeah, right. he didn't do anything lol. Wlad was scared as **** and didn't want to throw his hands AT ALL. He threw, what, 25 punches all fight?
He had a lot on his mind and had personal issues before the fight, that contributed to him not doing anything.

Fury didn't win- Wlad simply didn't show up to participate in a professional boxing match.

Man I can't wait for the rematch so that Wlad can knock that glass chinned stiff out.

I bet you ANYTHING that the moment that Wlad's fists touch Fury's face- his ass is DONE. (that didn't happen last time. Wlad didn't want to touch him)

That sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. If Wlad could have beat Fury he would have.

Give Tyson his just due. Don't be a sore loser like the Pacquiao fans.

No it certainly is not. British fighters win titles through back door tactics.

Still waiting for Brook to fight a proper contender, British fighters make careers out of padded records and journeymen.
