As a precautionary measure, the boxing commission of Mexico City has stated that former world champion Antonio Margarito will have to undergo special medical tests to prove he is fit to step into the ring. The commission is concerned with his right eye, which was injured during his decision loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2010.

Never was anything dangerous in Margarito's wraps only his fists. The "PLASTER BLOCK " BS was all in ****m Richardson's fantasies. Funny no one else saw them but him huh? I reckon he must have had some of the stuff Mosely was obviously on that night

Doctors will always clear a boxer who's "perfectly healthy". What a doctor can't know is everything that goes on in training and a fight that can re-injure a fighter. But the doctor will do his job and say he's okay, because technically Margarito is okay, but he won't be once he sustains beating in the eye. I'm surprised Frank Bruno was not allowed to fight by the BBBoC, I bet the doctors cleared to fight. The BBBoC is very strict and can be b*tchmade most of the times, but in this case they saved Bruno from a beating. The US commissions need to do the same, and do the Russians and every other country.

Compare the first fight with Cotto, then the second. After you do that, watch other previous fights. You will notice that all Margacheto opponents suffer more damage in the second half of the fight compared to the first. The only guy who don't produce the slight of redness in the first half, then have his opponents face falling apart in the next.
