    On March 12th WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman and former champion Shawn Porter will collide at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut in a CBS televised showdown. The fight was first rumored to take place in December and then again in January and February before being officially announced.

      Honestly Thurman is kind of already the guy to beat at WW. He may hurt Porter if Porter thinks his bully rush-in style will work..Brook outclassed Shawn already so whoever wins should have to beat him to be considered king IMO...

        Seems to me Haymon thinks Garcia will be his cash cow at 147...maybe just the way I see things but these two are the ones who should've been fighting for that WBC belt.

          Agreed. He's pretty much relying on the puerto rican fanbase.

              Too bad Khan is about to be executed by the Cinnamonster. Was really looking forward to a 147 tournament with the Thurman/Porter winner vs the Garcia/Khan II winner.

              And I like the prospects Vazquez and Spence's potential at 147 more than Thurman or Porter.
