Comments Thread For: Shawn Porter Feels Amir Khan is Still at The Top of His Game

Former champion Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) has received plenty of criticism over the past for years for his ring inactivity. Khan has twice been a bridesmaid for a Floyd Mayweather Jr. mega-fight and recently was passed over by Manny Pacquiao in favor of a trilogy bout against Tim Bradley.

Top of his game, but he needs a tune up? This can only mean one thing. Shawn is saying the top of Khan's game is a little weak.

I absolutely agree with Shawn Porter. Amir Khan is exactly as good as he was when Garcia put him on ***** street. Meanwhile the other top name WWs have improved.

What are you basing this on? He looked slower against Algieri and lets face it all he did was run and throw those "glaringly fast" feather fisted slaps

            ******ed UK FANS

I will love to see F Boy Brooks fans after he loses to Khan. Imagine if khans last 3 opponents were Jo Jo dan, Frankie gavin, and Kevin bezer. WHO THE F ARE THESE BUMS? ITS CLEAR HE WANTS THE KHAN SWEEPSTAKES.

Maybe Porter is right but at welterweight with the big boys we are simply left guessing is Khan being at the top of his game anywhere good enough ,I don't think so, having gone life and death with Algieri doesn't do it.I like everyone want him to fight the top welters and until he does that everyone even his nearest and dearest are just left guessing.

First Khan has to grow a pair and get in the ring

Khan has been inactive for a long time, to his detriment you would think but then Floyd took 2 years off, Haye took 3 years off, Ali took 3 years off, then later 2 years off, Vitali took 4 years off, Foreman took 10 years off, so Khan's 8 months off (to date) isn't long at all comparatively speaking. There is a possibility it could work in his favour if he's kept in shape and stayed sharp as he ever was.

Honorary mention: Frank Bruno took 20 years off and he might be back this year.

                  So there we have it.

I would say that his piss poor performance against Chris Algieri says not.
