Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal: I Will Be Back Better Than Ever

The past year hasn’t been very good for Jean Pascal. He was stopped in eight rounds by Sergey Kovalev last March, struggled with Yunieski Gonzalez en route to a controversial decision win in July, then had very little to offer against Kovalev in their rematch this past Saturday.

that will be a hard loss to take for a proud man like pascal, he fought terribly roach needs to go anyways if he's going to make a comeback but retiring might be best or a soft opponent feel for the guy

Suddenly I feel like singing End of the Road by Boyz 2 Men.

Pascal has fought so many tough fighters in his career. Eventually, it caught up with him. He's still had a nice career though. I don't think he's ever ducked anyone either.

I like his attitude. I'm a Jean Pascal supporter, if he comes back I will cheer him on. He lost to a great fighter. Only great fighters have beaten Pascal. Froch, Hopkins and Kovalev. Nothing to be ashamed of. He is not an ATG or HOF'er but he is a very good fighter.

His best days are past him, let's not forget he was given a gift vs Yunieski. I actually think he should rematch Gonzalez

Despite the lack of class he showed in the press conference, he's showing it in defeat. Hope he recovers, I'd pick him over Stevenson if Stevenson dares to fight him.

No way. Pascal was beaten up pretty bad this weekend and looks shot.

He has a ton of heart, maybe he should consider hanging them up.

Seems like he made a good living from the sport, he has a promotional company. He should focus on that.

no he has to retire. that first beating kovalev gave him completely ruined him. he was scared to throw punches.
