    LOS ANGELES - Genaro "El Conde" Gamez, the number one rated amateur lightweight in the U.S., has signed a promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions today. The 20-year-old, a national and international champion at 132, who was a member of the 2013-2015 USA Boxing Elite Men's National Team, will begin his professional career at super featherweight.

                      Really impressed by the signings GBP has made the last month.

                      Rashidi Ellis, Niko Valdez, Alexis Rocha, Genaro Gamez...seem to be building a solid foundation with a new crop of young talent.
