Comments Thread For: Roach Curious To See How Pacquiao's Shoulder Reacts In Camp

NEW YORK - Freddie Roach is anxious to see how Manny Pacquiao's surgically repaired right shoulder responds to boxing training.

Pacquiao's physical activity has been restricted to basketball, swimming and the****utic exercises since Dr. Neal ElAttrache fixed his partially torn right rotator cuff during a May 6 procedure in Los Angeles. According to Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser, ElAttrache cleared Pacquiao for all physical activity during a follow-up examination last week.

So what does Bradley get if his shoulder isn't well healed? It seems kind of backwards to sign a contract, then get checked out by the doctor, and then see if he can train. I would think you get cleared by the doctor, and then get checked by your trainer, and then find an opponent.

Roach style of too much heavy sparring is bad and cost excessive wear and tear to the fighter.

Should react pretty well. Fake injuries usually heal fast and don't leave any lasting fake damage.
