Comments Thread For: David Haye: Anthony Joshua is The Fight I Want, What Fans Want
Former two division world champion David Haye (27-2, 25KOs) is hoping to get in the ring this year with unbeaten Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (15-0, 15KOs).
Trying to catch Joshua early lol.He knows Joshua is still raw.Joshua needs at least 18 month before he's ready for that type of fight.I'd pick Haye to knock Joshua out right now,but if it's further down the line then i'd pick Joshua.
My reasoning for picking Haye for a knockout is Joshua's head movement is non-existant,he leaves his chin high in the air when pulling back and he always backs up in straight lines
IF he is really talking about Joshua then his "comeback" is all about quick money because David cleans his clock all day, every day for a couple of years
80 k at Wembley, big UK PPV, it's a money maker and I get that
However, if he puts in the hard yards, he will eventually get a shot at Fury and have a fair shot at winning PLUS it will be a world-wide event
It is literally the difference between an easy 5 million and 20 plus legacy
Joshua isn't ready for Haye - I'd favour Haye to KO Joshua at this point.
Joshua needs to keep building, he's still young and has a few flaws.
Haye's not getting any younger and needs to fight top ten ranked fighters and get in title contention. He shouldn't be going for a big name easy pickings like Joshua.
