pass the torch? everyone knows that marvin is training everyone and roach is just the face.

but to be fair to freddie, the managers are usually the ones that shop around put the feelers out there and then narrow it down for the fighter and the fighter usually just shows up and trains.

So Ortiz knowing nothing about that is really not a tell-all sign that freddie is lying.

Very true. But Ortiz doesn't need Roach as a face to build his name. I don't see the value for Ortiz to go to Roach... But if there is one, I'm sure another Trainer is more poised and capable.

I just believe it's time to turn the page on Roachs training career.
