Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin Willing to Face Billy Joe Saunders in The UK?

In recent days, WBO middleweight belt-holder Billy Joe Saunders, has made it explicitly clear that if WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin wants to face him next, that one of the conditions would be that he would have to travel over to the United Kingdom.

damn...if the plan was to make Lil G an offer he would refuse, I guess it's safe to say that it's not working

I give Lil G hell on here...IMO rightfully so!!....but I will admit, there's a group of fighters who want NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with him....shame on those dudes for calling themselves FIGHTERS...smh

I wonder what will be Billy Hoe's next escape stunt?!?....maybe he'll fake an injury....it's obvious that he doesn't REALLY want this fight

There's no reason why he shouldn't, it's not like it's going 12 anyway. This is just about money and Warren getting his cut.

How well would Golovkin/Saunders do in London? Would it sell out O2 and be ppv?

What a man gggg would be if he camehere. Letting a recently crowned champ dictate to him. Some fighters who been champ 17 years hsave never fought oiuyside own country once!
So nobody ask GGG to step up to 168 now as figjhtying outside your country is on par risk

Looks like Billy Hoe Saunders needs to get more creative with his escape route. Billy Hoe meeting with his management like:

Luckily for Billy Hoe the IBF looms like they will enforce the mandatory. So if he stalls the process, he can buy some more time.

No doubt at all that Golovkin would come to the UK to fight Saunders provided the terms on offer are sensible. Kovalev came here to face Cleverly and GGG would surely not lose a wink at the prospect of a similar stop-off. There are only two things that would prevent it happening - refusal on Saunders' part or a derisory purse offer to Mr Golovkin.

I'd love it if he came over here. It would be great to see him fight live.

Now Bill Joe Saunders will say he want the fight at 155

Doesn't care who he fights and where, as long it's not that good of a fighter.
