Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Could See Future Anthony Joshua Collision

Heavyweight prospect Joseph Parker is anticipating a future collision with fellow unbeaten Anthony Joshua - if both of the young heavyweights continue to win their fights.

Parker, who is 17-0 with 15KOs, is quickly rising up the rankings and could be line for a world title within a year. Joshua, an Olympic gold medal winner with a 15-0, 15KOs record, is also on the verge of being in position for a mandatory shot.

Joshua holds the current Commonwealth title, so what's to stop this fight happening!

Anyone can say they'd like to fight XYZ down the road, but if they're serious they should be laying down the groundwork now. What's Parker doing to prepare for a shot against Joshua? Not much, from what I can see.

Parker is a problem. He's the most explosive HW since Haye. He's got a very good jab, good speed and skill, he's gonna be very hard to beat. His potential is scary, he's only 23.

He should really fight Dillian Whyte

He has three common opponents with Whyte and Whyte dealt with all of them a lot more impressively.

I think it'd be parkers first opponent under the age of 35 and with less than 5 losses, so it'd be interesting to see how he fares

I don't think Parker is the biggest puncher, it's his skill and sharpness/explosiveness that's most impressive for me.

Parker would beat the **** outta Whyte.

I'd like to see Parker fight Takam and/or Jennings by the end of this year, then he can target a title early next year.

I hear Parker's sparring with Wlad was very interesting.
