I never watched Ibeabuchi live as I was very young at that time but I found out about him and researched him quite a bit some years ago, funnily enough I found his personal website as I recall set up by his mother protesting his innocence, campaigning for his release, and also some interesting stories from prison - including some letters by Ike 'The President' himself if i'm not mistaken...

The guy was an exciting and talented fighter in his day, and was definitely a guy with championship potential. Highly doubt he will be anything similar now, but even a 50% of the old Ibeabuchi probably beats most mid-level heavies now.

Intriguing who they end up picking as the comeback opponent.
