Comments Thread For: Groves: If Haye Looks Good, He Could Be Back on The Scene

Super middleweight contender George Groves finds himself back in the same stable as former two division world champion David Haye.

Groves was at one time promoted by Haye's Haymaker Promotions. He left Haye in 2011 to sign with promoter Frank Warren and then later left Warren to sign with Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport. In 2014, Groves left Hearn and signed with German powerhouse Sauerland Event.

Groves has been through 3 trainers and 4 promotional agents in a few years. Jeez he's obviously not just a slightly prickly persona with opponents but in general.

And having lost his 3rd straight title shot he thinks he's fit to judge Haye. I continue to lose likability in that fella and Froch grows on me. Never thought I'd say that.

Haye has not fought in almost 4 years so explain your negative comment. Some people must still be drunk from the first.
