Rather see Matthysse vs. Postol than Provodnikov
Pascal vs. Gonzalez should be on there too

There were very few fights on HBO in which fans didn't know the outcome prior to the fight. In other words, HBO showed more showcase fights/mismatches than quality fights. PBC had a better slate of fights overall, even though it didn't premiere until March.

None of these fights are anything special except for Vargas vs Miura. Hbo fights have been getting worse every year

Salute to Jake Donovan for listing all these in one spot. Gotta watch the Canelo/Kirkland lights out KO again. Great fight, and some others on the list as well.

it was a good year for hbo, although they didn't really have much quality content to compete with. thanks to some good matchmaking it turned in some exciting fights; Matts-Prov, and Postol, and Miura-Vargas, Pascal-Gonz, Kov-Pascal, Gonz-Viloria, among others.

              Good Year For HBO

This was a very good bounce back year for HBO. They showcased their Stars multiple times even though I would liked to see Crawford one more time.

They put on good quality fights some lived up to the hype like Provo vs Lucas and some that didn't live up to the hype GGG vs Lemeiux.

HBO has a lot of Top 10 fighters right now pound for pound. While they didn't all have great threats face like Canelo for example. From the highlight reel KO against Kirkland, to the solid fight against Cotto. They have established their next stars after Pac retires.

Hopefully they will allow more dates the boxing promotions they have and allow them to show more content on their network. It will be interesting to see if they can capitalize on the momentum that they gained this year.
