Then Luis Ortiz stepped up as their #2 fighter with his impressive KO of Bryant Jennings.

Let's see what they do in 2016. If they sacrifice Canelo to Golovkin, I don't see much of a future for that company because I don't see Ortiz getting a fight with either Fury or Wilder any time soon.
They pretty much are dead. All of their fighters will join Al Haymon sooner or later.

Only if you were an idiot last year did you say they only have 3 relevant fighters. All you fools who thought they were done after they kicked Schaefer out over a year and a half ago and took haymon too court. Since Schaefer got the boot all they did was win promoter of the year last year. Forced haymon to pay a huge 8 figure settlement early this year after you idiots said they would lose in court. Took that money and did what I said early this year they would and rebuilt their roster. And now they are the favorites to win promoter of the year for 2015 for back to back years without Schaefer. They took young fighters who were prospects in 2014 and made them Champs or high end contenders in their division right now like Ortiz, Francisco Vargas, Shabransky, Orozco, Ali. They are more then just Canelo. They got the fighters I just named and the favorite to win prospect of the year in JoJo Diaz along with other high end prospects Teixeira, Avila, Quigley, and more. And I haven't even mentioned established guys like Linares, Matthysee, Lemiuex, Herrera, ect. Point is they have high end talent at every level. They got the mega star, they got multiple other world champs, they got big names like Matthysse and Lemieux that fans will always want to see and who are one win away from another world title shot, they go contenders on the rise and a ton of prospects. They got a deal with HBO, a deal with Estrella to promote their Latino talent, they got R!ngTV Live, and just last week it was reported they opening up their own studio. So they got the platforms and they got the fighters.

This might be a shock to you since at every turn you predicted their demise but it's not to me I been debating with you and others for almost 2 years now that golden boy ain't going nowhere and that Schaefer was over rated and time is proving me right. Golden Boy might win promoter of the year, prospect of the year(Diaz), Fight of the year (Vargas, Matthysse both leading candidates), Knockout of the year (Canelo over Kirkland), Matchmaker of the year (Diaz from Golden Boy) and Fighter of the year (Canelo).

Who besides Golden Boy put their best fighters in tougher fights this year? Matthysse fought Ruslan and Postol, Linares fought Mitchell in England, Ortiz fought Jennings, Lemieux fought Ndam and GGG, Vargas fought Muira, Shabransky just fought Gonzalez after he whooped Pascal, Canelo fought Cotto who many here thought would school, ect. Golden Boy didn't win all of them but they won most and their future looks real bright.

How so? You do realize the mess Golden Boy got into a few years ago was because their snake dirtbag CEO Schaefer was steering fighters to Haymon and intentionally not resigning Golden Boy built fighters. So Haymon had a inside man to steal away fighters from Golden Boy. Schaefer is gone and they cleaned house all the fighters moving forward all have exclusive contracts with Golden Boy and none are "advised' by Haymon. That's a huge part of their success in 2015 is they have no more Haymon fighters and are free to make the fights Haymon was refusing to make. And how can you be dead when here is the list of fighters they promote who are either world champ or on everyone's top 10 list for their weight class right now
        Heayweight - Ortiz
        Light Heavyweight - Shabransky
        Middleweight - Canelo, Lemiuex
        Welterweight - Ali
Jr Welterweight - Matthysse, Herrera, Orozco
        Lightweight - Linares
        Jr Lightweight - Vargas
        Featherweight - Rios, Castellanos
        Jr Featherweight - Avilla
        Bantamweight - Caballero

They have somebody relevant in every weight class that matters in boxing. And in my previous post I mentioned how Golden Boy is favored to win Promoter of the year...well just this morning it was announced that he won Sports Illustrated Promoter of the year for 2015.

Props to GBP, 2 Big wins with Canelo and Ortiz that they really needed.

They head into the New Year with 2 Big Building Blocks and more to come if Frankie Gomez and Randy Caballero get their damn weight together!

Don't always agree with Oscar and some of the **** that comes out of his mouth but he has a good team around him at GBP in Eric Gomez, Monica Sears and Others so GBP will be OK

I don't know about Promoter of the year when they was left for dead going into the Canelo vs Cotto fight but to their credit they got that win then Ortiz recent impressive win but Promotion of the year is questionable but I'm not upset about it because they finished strong after a shaky start

Like I said in another thread, how do you not give promoter of the year to the Promoters involved with the biggest Boxing Event in History.

Easy because the lead promoter was Mayweather Promotions who have a joke of a roster and not done anything significant the rest of the year. Top Rank is the toughest competition to Golden Boy for Promoter of the year but Top Rank kind of struggled the rest of the year. No second Pacman fight and Bradley couldn't get a big fight. They lost Cotto and Chavez Jr. Golden Boy just put in more work and Canelo/Cotto stamped it for me. Ortiz was the cherry on the top. If Top Rank could of got one more big huge fight in I would of given it to them. But they didn't and Mayweather as promoter of the year would of been just a joke I don't care how big May/Pac was there is 12 months in a year.

Yeah but all of that combined still doesn't come close to the biggest boxing event in boxing history. Not saying Mayweather Promotions or Top Rank Promotions should get Promotion of the year but a argument can be made based on that event alone

That's what it takes for me to gain respect and for the public to gain respect of fighters and their management teams.
