Comments Thread For: Haye: My Speed, Technique is Enough To Beat Joshua

Former two-division world champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) was sitting ringside at the O2 Arena in London and watched closes as his young compatriot, Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (15-0, 15 KOs), overcame the toughest test of his pro career by stopping previously unbeaten rival Dillian Whyte (16-1, 13KOs) in seven rounds.

I would pick the Gayemaker based on what I know at this point but no telling how the 3 years of partying and bumming rent boys has affected him

Fight won't happen, if Davide Gaye actually has the balls to get in the ring with him it will be a first or second round knockout

Never pick anyone who has more than one foot out the door and into retirement for the last 3 years. If Haye's heart was in it, that would be a different story but it is obvious Haye does not have his heart in the game.

If Joshua lands the fight is over, not sure about other way around, Anthony has 40 pounds on Haye.

Haye begging for fights now. I have Haye winning too, but yeah. . . He's been gone so long he might come back and look like ****. One big punch from AJ could end it.

I think Haye hits as hard if not harder than Joshua.

The biggest question is whether or not he'd show up but punch for punch 1 punch each to decide it, no question I'd take Haye.

If his heart wasn't in it, he wouldn't be coming back. Haye has enough money so he's clearly motivated and feels he has something to prove.
