  • Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola-Travis Kauffman Scoring Anyalsis

Days after their 12-round heavyweight battle, Chris Arreola and Travis Kauffman continue to debate over who deserved the nod. Arreola managed a split decision win in their NBC-televised bout in San Antonio, with public opinion ranging from a close fight that could have gone either way to Kauffman being robbed of what should have been a career-best win.

The only ones who didn't really disagree were the three judges.

Despite the split nod and the close nature of the bout, the ringside officials - Ursulo Perez, Valerie Dorsett and Wilfredo Esperon - were in full agreement in nine of the 12 rounds scored.

arroela said he will give em a remtach, make it happen!

I though arreola won but I wouldent cry if it was a draw or they gave it to kaufman.

I think kaufman ****ed up by lowblowing arreola and opened up that chance for arreola to take that long ass break and get back into the fight, Had he not done that I fully believe he would have stopped arreola.

Why discuss a disputed result between two journeymen.

Kaufman was his own worst enemy in this fight in a couple ways. This low blow situation. Plus he kinda tapped out at the end which ended up deciding the fight.

An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere or w/e that saying is!!! Although tbh I don't see this as a very disputed resul & I picked Kaufman to win. Was a close fight that either guy coulda won. Can't really cry robbery.

Arreola shouldn't be considered a top contender anymore, as he struggles with journeymen for his past three fights or more. Trying to keep him relevant is a joke at this point.

Idk who considers him a top contender anymore. I don't think most have considered him that since his first or second L to Bermane.

Not sure what you mean by relevant. He's a viable name guy even if he's not a top HW contender anymore so he's gonna be somewhat relevant no matter what.

Travis Kauffman had jello around his waist jiggling away

Average travis Kauffman looked like a barrel of jello during his Aerrola fight. Jello boy Travis made Aerrola actually look fit and trim and in shape. Each body shot to the soft gut of Travis sent jiggles and ripples all around that huge soft waist line of jello man Kauffman. Kauffman might do one sit up when jello boy gets up in the morning out of bed. Kauffman's waist looked liked ocean waves with that movement. a Midget could surf on Travis waist line. Two average fighters in an even scrap earning their paychecks. Pretty funny though Jello jiggles Kauffman versus mattress pillow Nose Aerrola. That is the heavy weights in america.
