On October 24th, former IBF featherweight champion Evgany Gradovich (20-1-1) bounced back from his first career defeat with a points victory over Aldimar Santos. In May he lost his title via technical decision to Lee Selby.

With all of the featherweight champions besides stablemate Vasyl Lomachenko fighting under Al Haymon's PBC banner, a path to regaining a featherweight title seems very limited for the fighter known as the "Mexican Russian".

Good fight. On the evidence of the Juarez fight, Gradovich would be a tough test for Donaire if he can soak up the counters

Nonito is ripe, over ripe. Juarez showed staying power and little else, but managed to maul and mangle Donaire. Gradovich is the same sort of guy, just naturally bigger. I don't think Gradovich can make 122 and be 100%, but Nonito is not 100% any more.
