Comments Thread For: Bradley Prefers Cotto Showdown Over Pacquiao III

Tomorrow Friday's TruTV televised card in Puerto Rico, many insiders expect WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) to get named as the April 9th opponent for Manny Pacquiao. It would become the third time the two boxers faced each other.

Bradley won a twelve round controversial split decision over Pacquiao in 2012. He lost a twelve round decision in the 2014 rematch.

I'm cool with that... but it'll probably be PPV with a horrible undercard

I would also like that Bradley vs Cotto fight more than a Pac vs Bradley trilogy.

There you have it, folks, Bradley is not interested in Pac. Pac needs to fight Crawford.

Good news. I hope he gets the Cotto fight. Something new at least. It would be a good addition to either Cotto or Bradley's resume. And hopefully it pushes Pacquiao towards the Crawford fight as well.

Cotto would be cool, because it's something we haven't seen yet, but honestly i think he could beat Pacquaio legitimately in the next fight, so I'll lean towards Pac but Cotto would be a good consolation prize for me.

I'm liking Tim more and more. Gutsy to go after Cotto, smart to avoid another Pac fight because, even if he wins it, it means little because he still lost to a fresher version of Pac.
Against Cotto he could beat a large guy, or lose to a large guy. Not so bad either way.

Cotto fight is more interesting. Money wise too, for Bradley, a good deal.
