  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Questions How Joshua Got His Ranking

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34KOs) is not exactly sure how young up and comer Anthony Joshua (14-0, 14KOs) secured a number two ranking in the WBC's top ten.

Joshua could very well become the mandatory challenger to Wilder's title by next year. Next Saturday night in London, the Olympic gold medal winner will face his amateur rival Dillian Whyte (16-0, 13KOs).

Sounds like Wilder is worried he'll be facing Joshua in the near future if he wants to keep that belt. Next year isn't going to be a year of fighting lower tier fighters for Wilder, he has the Poverkin fight soon and maybe Joshua at the end of the year.

Bum squad is upset that Joshea didn't have to fight the same lineup of killers that he did to get his ranking with the WBC.

I question how any of them got a ranking...
I think I could get into the heavyweight rankings at this stage.
                And I'm only 56 kg
