Either there's an extension or a new belt/weightclass made.

Canelo vs another T10 MW first then GGG. That's the best thing to do. Both have a fight vs other MW's then fight in September. Same as Ward v Kovalev minus Ward having a belt.

I'm going to be very upset if I hear "double-header on Cinco de Mayo..."

No more step aside money, no more verbal commitments. Either fight each other or gtfo.

I have a bad feeling about what's about to happen...

I believe GBP and K2 are going to set up a Cinco De mayo card with Canelo vs. David Lemiuex and GGG vs. someone like Jorge Heiland as the co-feature. They'll make a public statement about how the winner has to fight each other in September or something along those lines.

If GGG and his team accept some double header crap, they deserve to get heavily criticized.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I hope that Canelo is put in a situation where he has to fight GGG next or vacate.

Its usually unwise to say "never" when it comes to this sport, but I have a VERY hard time believing that K2/GGG would accept any scenario that relegated them to "co-feature" status. That would be quite surprising......

Here's how the conference call between the W.B.C., Ca$hnelo's Team, and Little G's Team is going to go:

                  W.B.C.: Sorry Little G, but 900K >>> 97K.

                  Little G's Team:

Naw, WBC has not always done things that made sense, but they seem to truly want this fight.

If team GGG accept it, I have no qualms with it.

However it's risky, if Canelo fights Lemieux, he very well could get KO'd.

Therefore setting up a boring ole Lemieux GGG rematch for the WBC/lineal/Ring mag titles.

Although it will look lame that the loser of the GGG/Lemieux fight got a crack at the lineal first.
