DUESSELDORF, GERMANY – Tyson Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko by unanimous decision to end the Ukrainian’s 9½-year reign as heavyweight champion on Saturday and take his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles.

After a bruising encounter that ended with cuts near both of Klitschko’s eyes, referee Tony Weeks went to the judges’ scorecards.

Cesar Ramos and Raul Caiz Sr. scored it 115-112 each, while Ramon Cerdan had it 116-111 in favor of the undefeated Briton (25-0, 18 KO).

If they rematch it should take place in the UK, Fury has earned it. It would be one of the biggest fights in UK history, you can imagine how rowdy that crowd would be.

Fury will crush him again should they fight.

Tough day for Klitschko but he took it like a man. Reminds me of when Werdum tapped Fedor.

Klinchko is a disgrace to boxing with all that clinching..he should have been DQ'd in the fight..same with Ward, Mayweather and the rest who constantly clinch...

              So glad Fury exposed Klinchko...

But watching this fight clearly makes me believe that boxing needs a Super Heavyweight division... the fact that these guys would be fighting in the same division as Mike Tyson or some other 6'0''-ish champion weighing about 220 is kind of ridiculous..

This is a heavyweight fight and you guys still talk about Mayweather. He's very much still the most popular non boxer today.

Man, I kind of feel bad scrolling through these photos. Klitschko is a quiet person, doesn't search for trouble. Fury **** talked him so badly, ended up winning (good for him, new era time!) but poor Klitschko..
