Canelo doesn't know how to pressure a fighter to get the knock down. Canelo still can improve his boxing skills.

he has a point obviously no one will take anything he says serious because of his own problems inside and outside the ring but ill give him credit that he has a point

Jr. has a point. Everyone wanted an action fight. This is one of the biggest fights of the year. And Cottos punches did not hurt Canelo, and Canelo looked big, strong and fast. Heavy punches.

So why didn't Canelo try to finish him, or impose his will? One of the biggest fights of your life, and you just sit back and box, when it looks like you can ko him?

It was very unsatisfying, indeed. Jr. is right.

Canelo's a pretty good fighter but who knows what happens when he moves up to 160. He may end up the same as Chavez Jr.

Canelo & Chevez JR, nothing like Sr.

Of course he didn't life up to it, they are trying o act as if Canelo is the second coming of Chevez Sr, when in reality he is the second coming of Chavez Jr. Hyped up Mexican boxer who drains tons of weight to fight smaller dudes, somehow gets gifted matches--at 23 he gets Floyd, it wasn't based off of skill, he got whooped.

Like Chavez, the large Mexican following affords him the ability to bring in PPV. But never quit living up to the hype.

Canelo isn't what his fans and the media want to pretend. They know it--he se the apprehensiveness of fighting at 154 where Lara, Andrade, and Charlos can beat him.

Or to go to his more natural weight of 160, where GGG bulldozes him.

He isn't the take on anyone warrior. He has taken on decent fighter, but almost everyone long past their prime (something they want to do to GGG too). The list is large, Angulo, Trout, Kirkland, Cotto, all past their best fighting days.

Lara was a tough fight, but Lara could never hurt Canelo, and as we seen, you can't get decisions against him.

This is why GGG is so dangerous to Canelo, because Ginger doesn't make it 12. Probably be lucky to make it 8.

So his only chance is to pretend he isn't a MW, who balloons up to 175 when fighting WW. This way he can try to drain GGG, because short of that, Canelo will be exposed as just another Chavez Jr.
