Comments Thread For: Amir Imam's Coach: We Want Adrien Broner Next Year

This Saturday night in Quebec, undefeated WBC No. 1 ranked super lightweight Amir Imam (18-0, 15 KOs) will face Adrian Granados (16-4-2, 11 KOs) in a 10-round bout on Showtime as part of the SHO Extreme card to the James DeGal vs. Lucian Bute televised main event.

If Imam comes away with the win, and no injuries, he will go forward with a mandatory shot at WBC world champion Viktor Postol (28-,12KOs) of Ukraine.

That would be awesome, Imam picking Broner to pieces before a TKO stoppage.

Nobody at 140 can stop broner. Imam has to beat postol first

Broner has fought nothing but bums at 140. Once he faces the top guys at 140 he will get crushed just like when stepped up against top 147 fighters. He is nothing but a paper champ. Title fight coming off a loss? Against another fighter coming off a loss and a long layoff. It's a joke he even has a belt

I said stopped. Not he can't lose. He took maidanas shots I'm sure he can handle 140 power

Ok then I agree with that. He can take a punch but he's very beatable at 140.
