What you write is true, but if GGG's team makes a legit offer to Ward (one of the two fights Ward wants before his fight with Kovalev), either Ward accepts it, or else Ward will have to decline the offer (let's say because Ward is going after the light heavyweight title). And, if Ward refuses a fight with GGG, then it will be evident that GGG's pursuit of a becoming the unified middleweight champion was a legit goal. As for Canelo fighting GGG, I don't believe that Canelo ever will.
