Perhaps first having a fight with Ward is a method which GGG can use to his benefit in seeking a fight with Canelo Alvarez. Why first? Well, I really don't believe that Canelo will fight GGG before 2016 is over (just my opinion, but if Canelo needs to 'grow' more before he fights GGG, one year won't be enough for significant growth). So, GGG's people hammer out a contract with Ward's people for a 2016 fight (naturally before Ward's contracted fight with Kovalev). Once GGG has fought Ward (regardless of a GGG win or a GGG loss - as long as any loss would not be lop-sided - and as I've stated before, I believe that GGG would win), GGG would no longer face (objective) criticism that "he hasn't the resume to warrant a fight with Canelo as of yet." One potential problem is that Ward may well say, "The 168 pound limit I had set is now off the table. I am now a light heavyweight. If there is to be a fight, it must be at XXX weight (any number higher that 168, but still LHW limit). Yes? No? Maybe? How absurd does this scenario sound to you?As a representative of the golovtard nation,I can honestly say that we've moved on from the whole ward thing. Right now the main thing on the agenda is getting canelo to come out of his made up weight class. After all, ward kinda has his hands full with....well whoever he's going to fight at 175 before he fights kovalev.Comment

Why would he not answer the questions? Your logic is idiotic to say the least.True true...its not like he could choose to NOT answer those questions. If he was really moving on,and done with the ward-ggg saga,he could just tell the reporters that he's focusing on 175. But hey, every time that ward mentions ggg, its guaranteed at least 20 pages on this site.Comment

lets look at the purses hmmm 3.5 million is more than 2.2 million last i checked
ward is trying to make ggg look bad because ggg is willing to pay good opponents to fight him and ward is not? ok... hey ward the reason you have been trying to fight bums the last 4 years is so you could get that 2 million. you could have got that 2 million fighting good fighters but you ducked them all. you only wanted to fight bums who would accept small purses so you could get your 2 million greedy mf'er.Comment

Ward is a jilted lover
GGG is a mandatory to Canelo.
I'd be fine with his biiiitch as vacating and giving up that strap.
I don't rember GGG owning a SMW or LHW strap, and bring Ward's mandatory.
Really, Ward and Lara are full of it. Lara priced himself out, and Ward waited until GGG was not free.
GGG would murder all the PR fighters. Is that the white conspiracy you're talking about.
So you think Canelo is more likely to fight GGG once he beats a LHW Ward.Perhaps first having a fight with Ward is a method which GGG can use to his benefit in seeking a fight with Canelo Alvarez. That's a excuse made from heaven for Canelo.Comment
