According to the Atlanta Journal, former unified cruiserweight champion O'Neil Bell, 41-years-old, was shot and killed by a pair of robbers. Police found his body in the middle of Harbin Roads, with stab wounds and gunshot wounds.

Bell was one of two people who were shot while getting off a bus Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of Harbin Road. The other victim was not with Bell, but was getting off the same bus. Both were robbed. The second victim was shot in the hip and is being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital.

I used to love watching O'Neil Bell fight! I remember when he beat Mormeck for the title, I was absolutely shocked. That's ****ed up what happened to him.
