Possibility
I think it's a possibility......I mean some of her fighters have been fighting on PBC I believe and I think her heavyweight will get an opportunity to fight Wilder in January.....But its one of those situations where you scratch my back I scratch yours......This comes down to Al Haymon like usual with these two.....Stevenson had an opportunity and fight Kovalev before he jumped ship to Al Haymon.....Yes he got more money but has he ever took a hit since he has left HBO.....His popularity has gone down and his competition outside of Fonfara hasn't exactly been the best.....
Hopefully this fight gets made because this fight should have happened years ago.....Kovalev has been making more of a name for himself and gaining popularity and that dude is just a Terminatior.....

Main Event and GYM just agreed on all terms, terms which Haymon set.
If it doesn't happen, it's because Haymon won't ever allow it. When Haymon had Quillin turn down $1.4mill and vacate his title, it wasn't in Quillin's best interest. It was Haymon protecting his assets from competitors.

Haymon should not let his fighter take less money than what he can make in order to fulfill another fighters exclusive TV deal. If HBO and ME come with that real money we'll see the fight. The fight should've been made earlier this year with the purse bid which was before Kovalev signed an exclusive deal with HBO. HBO had right of first refusal for his next fight, which was the mandatory against Mohammedi, then he was free to fight Stevenson anywhere. So don't blame Haymon for doing his job if he terms aint right.

This is just preemptive bullshit to justify the easy Pascal rematch and the even easier next fight before ward. Actually, Kov might not fight between Pascal and ward and this allows Kathy to act like it's Haymon making her make the decision.
Next it will be fight has to be on HBO if this smokescreen doesn't work.
She's a lying ****.

Comments Thread For: Kovalev's Promoter Targets Stevenson Clash For June
Despite the announcement of a plan to have Sergey Kovalev and Andre Ward meet in the second half of 2016, Main Events CEO Kathy Duva says she is still actively trying to pursue a Kovalev bout against Adonis Stevenson for the summer.
''I'm going to meet with [Stevenon's promoter] Yvon Michel next week and I'm trying very hard to make the fight for June and we have basically gotten to the point, Yvon and I, we've been able to agree on all the terms and Yvon goes back to Stevenson's manager and the goal posts keep moving," she said to BoxingScene.com in Las Vegas.
