  • Comments Thread For: Martin Murray: If I Win, There Are Big Fights For Me

Martin Murray challenges Arthur Abraham for the WBO World Super-Middleweight title tomorrow in Hannover, live on Sky Sports – seven years after he claimed the Prizefighter Middleweight’s trophy.

Murray’s success that night came at York Hall in Bethnal Green, a far cry from the luxurious surroundings of the TUI Arena that will play host to his fourth World title shot against ‘King Arthur’.

But the St Helens star says much of his success in the ring can be traced back to November 22, 2008, where he beat Joe Rea and Danny Butler before edging out Cello Renda in a bruising final in east London.

At 168? Nah. A rematch isn't even warranted either. If Golovkin moves up his first fight needs to be Ward. No need to go over old ground with Murray.

Either of those fights against domestic opposition would be great especially Groves. I ain't too sure DeGale gets past Bute either yet, definitely going to have a punt on ze Romanian @ 4/1.

stop it with ward, he's not making 168

If he does win I hope he doesn't waste it on a fight with Hopkins, get in with maybe DeGale or Callum Smith certainly not a 50yo.

I didn't realise he had relinquished his belt(s) and officially moved up, only just seen article now a couple weeks later.
