Comments Thread For: Caballero Not Worried About Ring Rust With Haskins

IBF bantamweight champion Randy Caballero (22-0) will have been out of the ring 13 months since capturing his title with a unanimous decision victory over Stuart Hall in October, 2014. He will make his first start of the year on Saturday when he defends his title against Lee Haskins (32-3). The fight takes place on the Miguel Cotto-Canelo Alvarez undercard at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I feel sorry for Haskins he has completely been stitched up here. Just heard Caballero was 5 1/2 pounds overweight. 123.5 for this 118 bantamweight fight now the title is vacant according to Dan Rafael.

Thats cool then he deserved the title. Is this still going ahead non title? Or has it been scrapped? Hopefully he does not take a massive ass whooping. Lee is a tiny bantamweight to begin with let alone this chump coming in at featherweight. He should have just gave Lee the title to fight a top contender instead of dragging it out for a year.

            Haskins should have pulled out.

That weight is a disgrace. Unprofessional, cheating, little ****.

It would be a nice bit of karma if he manages the win.

Apparently he's been promoted to full champion? If that's true then that in itself is decent. For a guy like Haskins to be able to say he was a world champion is quite something.
