Irish lightweight Jamie Kavanagh was arrested earlier this month on a charge from an alleged incident dating back to September 2014, according to The Sunday World.
Kavanagh has been charged with one count of violent disorder, which accuses him of “[using] or [threatening] to use violence to cause others to fear for their safety” outside of a hotel in Dublin that would not allow Kavanagh and those with him inside, the newspaper said. Kavanagh had been in the city for his father's funeral and allegedly was part of a fight in which hotel staff were assaulted.
