Virgil Hunter, trainer of welterweight contender Amir Khan, has a very good feeling about his boxer's ability to stun Manny Pacquiao in a potential 2016 showdown.

The two fighters had once trained side by side at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. Both men were simultaneously trained by Freddie Roach. In 2012, Khan parted from Roach and hired Hunter.

they didnt even consider the fact in sparring they suppress their punches. Pac wasnt even throwing heavy handed punches. He was sparring throwing combinations to polish his skills. therefore, Amir khan's glass jaw survived lol (with head gear to boot)

This is sparring Khan has recently been talking about and unlike when Khan lied to ALL his fans and said he sparred Ward these sessions did happen .Who ever had the upper hand means nothing in the real world as shortly after he 'did so well' he was knocked to pieces and knocked out by a pretty ordinary Danny Garcia and struggled so badly with a guy Pacquiao completely took to bits.......Khan is irrelevant and it's him and his team to blame for just waiting around like a begging knob.

Suppose you're right and the professional trainer doesn't know what he's looking at. Khan has been in the ring with Pac on multiple occasions and feels confident about his chances despite his short comings.

The fact that Khan exudes confidence in the match up leads me to believe that maybe he discovered something he could capitalize on if he ever fought Pac....won't know for sure until they fight.

Way off-topic. What is wrong with you just posting random accusations like this? There are threads for each of your accusations. Floyd IV master thread, and the countless Ward vs Kovalev/GGG threads.

If GGG had fought Ward you would have lost 2 hype-jobs in 1 year.

You really up for that ?

Anyone who has been around awhile, and who has paid attention, knows what happened back when TEAM PACQUIAO stopped sparring Khan.

They stopped using Khan because it was no longer benefiting Pacquiao.

                  Take that however you like.

Yes I see your point, maybe they thought if Pac was to open up on Khan he would have no doubt have done what Garcia did shortly afterwards and with it only being sparring it wouldn't really benefit anyone having myself sparred hundreds of rounds I can safely say knocking bits out of each other in sparring hardly ever benefits either guy.
