The IBF has granted formal sanction approval for the IBF/WBA Jr. Featherweight Championship Unification fight between IBF Jr. Featherweight Champion Carl Frampton and WBA Jr. Featherweight Champion Scott Quigg.

The bout is scheduled for February 26, 2016 at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester, England. This bout was approved with the condition that the winner must do the IBF mandatory within 90 days of the Frampton vs. Quigg fight.

I'm ok if they do the ibf mandatory 1st and THEN the RIGO fight. This is probably going to be a tough fight for both so a 'breather' before Rigo would probably be welcome.

Time is running out for Rigo - but whose fault is that?

hbo's fault surely...a little bit of top ranks as well..not their fault instead it was their intentions..but w/e

yea im fine with a breather until i think of how cowardly this might turn out...frampton has already talked about leaving the weight and made excuse of how hard it is..he wont be their for another year..and quigg didnt want to fight for rigo's wba belt at allim sure he'll run on up as well..thats why i would love if the ibf would sit the *** down....and who needs a breather when their next fight is going to be 5 months away...lol this isnt the 70 guys dont stay active

frampton has fought since maybe august and his bout is in feb....same with quigg these guys dont want to be active they want to be protected

the only thing mandatory regardless of council protocols is to fight Rigo whenever ''Frampton or Quigg'' is mentioned...meanwhile while Santa Cruz jumping ship and Loma biting his nails

Shingo Wake? I heard the Irish love wakes, kind of like a going away party. All jokes aside, who is this guy?

Wake does not deserve to be ranked number one, but he is a tough and skilled world class fighter. Just because he isn't well known in Britain or America doesn't mean he's a bum.
