Joe Gallagher believes only James DeGale is ahead of Callum Smith as the best super middleweight in Britain.

The Manchester trainer, who is based at Amir Khan’s Gloves ABC gym in Bolton, watched his charge demolish Rocky Fielding on November 7 and is confident that a world title shot is just around the corner.

Gallagher trains all four of the fighting brothers from Liverpool and says the 25-year-old has just James DeGale in front of him as the best in Britain at 168lbs.

Hard to say whether groves is a shot fighter or just had a crap trainer
Since Froch 1 he got worse in every fight!
