Chavez Jr. left Roach last year, after the Mexican star parted ways with promoter Top Rank and signed with manager Al Haymon.

This guy can't stand the fact that Canelo and Cotto are going to be headlining when if he had some discipline it could have been him..

Very true. Just imagine how huge a Canelo-Chavez Jr fight would've been at 160. Even Chavez Jr got schooled by Martinez would've been lucrative. He can have the whole not been KO'd thing going for him and people would see if Canelo can be the first or if he can KO Canelo and be the first. Shame wasted opportunities.

Well, I wonder how that will work out. Just a few weeks ago, Chavez was talking badly about Cotto to the media. If Roach takes Chavez back, it's likely they'd eventually share training camps.

I saw an interview where he said he "didn't like Cotto" because "Cotto was a fighter that fought only at catch-weights." I thought it was a bit ironic, since Chavez has used catch-weights for a while now.
